Spirit Bear was beary impressed by what Barbara Giroux's Grade One Class at Holy Family School learned this year. The class learned about treaties and the oral promises they carried. The letters the class all wrote to Dr. Peter Henderson Bryce and government officials were beary important because they asked that they listen to First Nations communities. Spirit Bear also valued witnessing how the class has been responding to reconciliation throughout the year. Thank you for the important work you are doing because it is making Canada a better place for all, three cheers for you!
