Anastacia is an Indigenous post-secondary student, who is working toward merging her love of her Mi’gmaq culture, and favourite subjects of science and math, into the field of nursing. She is twenty years old, and currently entering her fourth year of a Bachelor of Nursing program. Anastacia is committed to advocating for the health and wellbeing of Indigenous children. As a nurse, Anastacia hopes to help break down the barriers Indigenous people face in Canada’s health care system.
